UMass Psychology

UMass Amherst Psi Chi Chapter

Psi Chi, the International Honors Society in Psychology, is a community of undergraduates dedicated to personal growth and academic excellence. The society was founded in 1929 for the purposes of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship, and advancing the science of psychology. Membership is open to graduate and undergraduate men and women who are making the study of psychology one of their major interests, and who meet the minimum qualifications. Psi Chi is a member of the Association of College Honor Societies and is an affiliate of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association for Psychological Science (APS).

Our UMass Amherst Psi Chi Chapter offers biweekly general body meetings that are operated by our student officers and intended to assist students in preparing for graduate school, expanding their knowledge of available career opportunities, and stimulating and encouraging leadership, group involvement, and community service.   UMass Amherst Psi Chi offers great opportunities that every Psychology student is encouraged to take advantage of!
